FOX NEWS: Former Saints Pro Bowler Marshon Lattimore On “Thin Ice” As He Officially Reached An Agreement To Join Baltimore Ravens From Washington Commanders In A 4 Year Deal

After drafting 2025 draft pick Trey Amos, the Washington Commanders could trade one of their veteran talents before the season begins.

The Washington Commanders veteran cornerback Marshon Lattimore could be on thin ice this upcoming 2025 season. According to reports, one source believes that the Commanders may be open to trading the veteran as the team is still rebuilding a new roster, especially under quarterback Jayden Daniels. The Commanders are in the best spot possible in the league, so they’re doing everything they can to maximize Daniels’ contract this year and fetch the best talent. However, this doesn’t mean they won’t trade any of their current players to garner some draft capital to build a new team, which they will have to eventually do when Daniels is eligible for a contract extension.

Lattimore finally got a chance to play in the regular season for the Commanders after missing the first four games since his trade. After posting 25 solo tackles and five pass deflections in nine games and nine starts, it might not be enough to secure a future in Washington. Originally selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the former Ohio State product hasn’t been durable for the New Orleans Saints after spending his entirety with them. It’s why it was time for the Saints to let go of him before the trade deadline last year.
