AC Milan Rejects Joao Felix, Set To Return To Chelsea

Chelsea attacker Joao Felix is expected to return to Stamford Bridge this summer when his loan spell at AC Milan comes to an end.

The 25-year-old struggled to get playing time under new manager Enzo Maresca in the first half of the season. Searching for more playing time, Felix opted for a loan move away from Stamford Bridge.

Joao Felix joined Italian side, AC Milan during the winter transfer window on a six months contract.

The Portuguese has not been in fine form since arriving at the San Siro in January. He has scored only one goal in 11 appearances for the club with zero assist to his name.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan will path ways with the former Atletico Madrid attacker this summer when his loan contract runs out.

This confirms numerous rumours from last month claiming that Milan were no longer interested in keeping him at the club for another season.

Fabrizio also reported that Chelsea will assess other possible options to find a new club for Joao Felix this summer.
