A look into the Raiders’ 2025 projected strength of schedule
in American Football
While the Las Vegas Raiders are awaiting schedule release next Wednesday, we’re knowledgeable of the who’s and where of the upcoming slate.
After ending with a 4-13 record in 2024, they finished in fourth place in the AFC West. Therefore, they’ll face the teams that finished in the same standing in the NFC North, AFC North and AFC East, which were the Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns and the New England Patriots.
Additionally, they’ll face the entirety of the AFC South, the NFC East and their three AFC West divisional opponents – which they’ll face twice. Six of the 2025 opponents finished with a winning record last season and all of those six made the playoffs, which includes the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs who squared off in Super Bowl LIX.
The NFL and Sharp Football Analysis have both released the projected strength of schedule for all 32 teams, which includes Sharp’s calculated projected win totals. Looking at opposing team’s win percentages from last season, the Raiders land in the middle of the pack with the 16th hardest schedule on paper.
It’s always worth noting there’s no certainty in ranking a “hardest” or “easiest” schedule with the amount of change to come around the NFL over the course of this offseason.
