The Michigan Wolverines have scored a major recruiting victory with the commitment of Zion Robinson, a dynamic four-star wide receiver out of Georgia, who announced his pledge to the maize and blue on Tuesday.
Ranked among the top 25 receivers in the country by multiple recruiting outlets, Robinson is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound playmaker known for his blazing speed, crisp route-running, and reliable hands. His decision gives Michigan a significant boost to its already promising 2025 recruiting class, which now features several high-profile offensive prospects.
Robinson chose Michigan over a host of powerhouse programs, including Georgia, Tennessee, and Penn State. His commitment comes after an official visit to Ann Arbor, where he praised the family atmosphere, facilities, and the coaching staff’s vision for his development.
“I felt the love from Day 1,” Robinson said in his announcement. “Michigan just felt like home. Coach [Sherrone] Moore and Coach Bellamy laid out a plan for me to grow on and off the field.”
As a junior at Norcross High School, Robinson tallied over 1,100 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns, earning All-State honors and turning heads with his big-play ability in clutch moments. His athleticism also extends to track and field, where he’s clocked a sub-11 second 100-meter dash.
Robinson is expected to be a versatile threat in Michigan’s offense, capable of lining up outside or in the slot. His addition addresses a key need for the Wolverines, who are looking to retool their receiving corps following several departures.
With Robinson on board, Michigan continues to build momentum on the recruiting trail under Coach Moore’s leadership. The Wolverines are assembling a class with a strong mix of speed, power, and potential—and Zion Robinson could be one of its cornerstone stars.
