From Green Wave To Green Bay: Tom Grossi Selects Micah Robinson At 2025 NFL Draft
CB Micah Robinson (6)
The Green Bay Packers selected Tulane cornerback Micah Robinson with the No. 237 overall pick in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft, held outside Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Packers YouTuber Tom Grossi announced the pick live from the draft stage, creating a memorable moment for fans.
Scouting Robinson
Robinson was not invited to the 2025 NFL Combine but impressed at his pro day, posting a 4.42-second 40-yard dash, a 35-inch vertical jump, a ten-foot-three broad jump, a 7.14-second three-cone drill, and a 4.55-second 20-yard shuttle. He recorded a Relative Athletic Score, RAS, of 6.41.
“He took up a step from Furman to Tulane and really played really, really well in his first season there,” said Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst. “I think I guess as he gets more reps against really better competition, I think he’s going to continue to − he doesn’t have elite size, but I thought his speed and ability as an athlete to stay with guys, particularly for playing off coverages, which is so hard, and he’s got great ball skills.”

The 5-foot-11, 183-pound defensive back also visited Green Bay on a pre-draft visit. Robinson spent four seasons at Furman before finishing his collegiate career at Tulane, emerging as an exciting defensive force.
“Honestly, my time in Green Bay (on a top-30 visit) was awesome,” said Robinson. “I actually knew a coach up there, and I also got along with coach DA (passing game coordinator Derrick Ansley) very well, one of the defensive backs coaches. I just went up there and honestly fell in love. Great facilities, I saw they had a great coaching staff, topped out with the GM, defensive coordinator, everybody on the staff. At the end of the day, you’ve got to love who loves you, so I love Green Bay.”
In his senior season at Tulane, competing in the American Athletic Conference, Robinson played in all 14 games in 2024. He recorded 34 tackles, six pass breakups, two interceptions, one forced fumble, and one returned defensive touchdown. In coverage, he allowed only one touchdown all season. Robinson earned 2024 second-team All-AAC honors for his stellar performance.

Robinson became the 16th player drafted by the Packers from Tulane, the most of any NFL team. He is also the 26th Tulane player selected in the NFL Draft since 2000 and the 152nd in program history. Robinson was the second Tulane defensive back taken in this year’s draft, joining Caleb Ransaw, who was selected No. 88 overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Grossi Posse Packer Nation
Lifelong Packers fan, content creator, YouTuber, and 2023 NFL Fan of the Year, Tom Grossi, had the honor of announcing the pick for the Green Bay Packers.
”I’ve been a fan since I was 6 years old and dreaming about coming to Green Bay,” said Grossi. “I was here when there was a Kmart where we were standing, and now to be here, and even have the opportunity to be up on that stage and announce a pick. Like it’s going to be a core memory that I’m never going to forget for the rest of my life.”
Outside of his NFL and Packers content, Grossi is a dedicated community figure involved in several philanthropic efforts, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Children of Fallen Patriots, and more.
