Boston College Women’s Track & Field Team Shines at NCAA East Regionals
The Boston College women’s track & field team had a strong showing at the 2025 NCAA DI East First Rounds, held at Hodges Stadium on the University of North Florida’s campus from May 28-31. Six Eagles competed in various events, showcasing their skills and determination.
Thursday’s Events
– Aoife Dunne and Molly Hudson competed in the Women’s 1500m, with Dunne finishing 31st overall (4:18.63) and Hudson placing 36th overall (4:21.96).
– Aliyah Canty finished 47th overall in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 1:01.39.
– Roshni Singh placed 32nd overall in the Women’s 10,000m Semifinal with a time of 34:26.83.
Saturday’s Events
– Yasmine Abbes competed in the Women’s 3,000m Steeplechase quarterfinals, finishing 46th overall with a time of 10:58.10.
– Ella Fadil achieved a personal-best time of 15:56.97 in the Women’s 5,000m, placing 22nd overall and securing sixth place in Boston College’s all-time records.
Season Highlights
The Eagles concluded the 2024-25 track & field season with numerous individual and team successes. The men’s and women’s teams combined for nine school records and 47 school top-10 performances during the indoor season, followed by seven school records and 44 school top-10 performances during the outdoor season.

The Boston College track & field team will return to action with the 2025-26 indoor season, eager to build on their achievements and continue striving
for excellence.
