Endrick Opens Up On Real Madrid Future After Copa del Rey Heroics

Real Madrid striker Endrick has spoken on his future at the club after knocking Real Soceidad out of the Copa del Rey on Tuesday night.

The 18-year-old was back in the starting lineup for Los Blancos after getting minimal playing time from Carlo Ancelotti so far this season.

Real Madrid went into the game with a 1-0 advantage after their win away at Real Soceidad in February.

The Brazilian striker equalized the game on the night, while restoring Real Madrid’s aggregate lead a strike in the 30th minute. The game went on to finish 4-4 and Madrid advanced to the final on a 5-4 aggregate win.

Endrik speaking on his future in a post match conference said: “I love experiencing this madness, even though I like to win as soon as possible and celebrate with the fans and the bench. I’m delighted that we’re through to the final. We will give everything to win this trophy.”

“I’m here to help by scoring goals or defending and winning trophies. We’re doing well, we’ve reached a final, we want to reach the Champions League final and keep winning trophies.”

Endrick continued: “I’m very happy with the goal. I have to take my chances. I know how difficult it is to play because there are the four best forwards in the world: Bellingham, Mbappé, Vini Jr. and Rodrygo.

“They are amazing players who always want to play. When I get my chance, I give everything for the team, by scoring and defending. I’m very pleased with my goal and to help the team.”

Real Madrid will face the winner of the second semi final clash between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona in the final of the tournament.
