Italian club side Juventus are prepared to keep new caretaker manager, Igor Tudor at the club until after the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.
Igor Tudor was handed the managerial job at Juventus after the club sacked former manager, Thiago Motta on Sunday, following the latter’s poor performances this season.
The 46-year-old signed a six months contract with the Turin side with an option to extend for a further season.
Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli speaking on the future of the Croatian manager said: “Igor Tudor will stay with us until the end of the season, Club World Cup included”.
“We will assess the situation after that as our hope is to continue together with Igor Tudor as head coach. He has important qualities”.
The Juventus board, fans and supporters remain hopeful that things will turn around positively under Tudor this season and also lead Juventus to glory in the upcoming and redesigned FIFA Club World Cup, this June in the United States.
