Indiana Pacers Sign Rookie Kam Jones, Re-Sign Quenton Jackson
*INDIANAPOLIS – July 9, 2025* – The Indiana Pacers made a pair of backcourt moves on Tuesday, signing rookie guard **Kam Jones** and re-signing veteran guard **Quenton Jackson* the team announced.
Jones, a standout from Marquette University, joins the Pacers after going undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft. Known for his scoring ability and three-point shooting, he averaged 17.8 points per game in his senior season while shooting 39% from beyond the arc. The 6’4″ guard will look to compete for a rotation spot in training camp.
Meanwhile, Jackson returns to Indiana after appearing in 32 games last season, providing energy off the bench with his athleticism and defensive hustle. The 26-year-old guard averaged 3.2 points and 1.4 assists in limited minutes but earned praise for his tenacity.
“Kam is a talented young player with a proven scoring ability, and Quenton brings energy and experience to our backcourt,” said Pacers General Manager **Chad Buchanan**. “We’re excited to add both of them to our roster as we continue building depth.”
The Pacers, coming off a playoff appearance, are bolstering their guard rotation ahead of the 2025-26 season. Training camp begins in late September, where both Jones and Jackson will have the opportunity to solidify their roles.
